is the black or no texture problem is in every studio?

i had 3 errors before which i had to fix myself.. and error of having black or no textures was also fixed by opening terrain.blk in hex workshop and replacing all .pic strings into .tga and the textures worked.. but isn't this problem fixable? .. i mean already in the studio? a studio which already uses those .tga files? if yes then plz tell me.. i usually keep talking to myself in this forum.. is there no one here!?
